Japanese language classes / Conversation class
The Itabashi Culture and International Exchange Foundation, ICIEF, holds Japanese language classes for international residents. Volunteer teachers help you so that you can learn the primary Japanese language needed for daily life and live as a member of the local community.
Ⅰ Japanese Language Class for Beginners
The classes are held twice a week for six months. The courses: ①Monday and Thursday (mornings) / ②Tuesday and Friday (evenings). Please choose ① or ②. The classes are separately arranged in three groups (A, B, and C) depending on the level. A level check is conducted on the first day of the lesson.

①Monday-Thursday Course: April 4th (Thursday) to September 10th (Thursday) Every Monday and Thursday, 9:18-10:00
②Tuesday and Friday Course: April 4th (Friday) to September 11th (Friday) Every Tuesday and Friday, 9:19-18:30- (Second term) Applications will be accepted from September 9st.

- Those who live, work or study in the City and are 15 years old or older who do not speak much Japanese (level: introductory to beginner).

※The cost of textbooks is not included in the cost. The textbook for Classes A and B is “Minnna-no-Nihongo Shokyu Ⅰ”(2,700 yen). Class C uses“Marugoto Shokyu 2,500 Katsudo”(XNUMX yen).

Ⅱ ICIEF Wednesday Conversation Salon
This is a class to learn while enjoying conversation with a conversation supporter.
※You can take both of ⅠBeginners Japanese Class (①Monday and Thursday course/ ②Tuesday and Friday course) and “Wednesday conversation class”as well.
